About StatementToExcel

Reconciling a bank or credit card statement usually means retyping numbers out of a PDF by hand, or fighting with a spreadsheet import that mangles dates, merges columns, or silently drops rows. StatementToExcel exists to skip that step: upload the PDF, get back a clean, correctly-typed Excel file with every transaction intact.

The extraction engine doesn't use a fixed template for any one bank — it reads the actual layout of each statement, detects the transaction table, and works out column meaning and debit/credit direction from context, rather than assuming a particular bank's format. Where it isn't confident, it flags the row for review instead of guessing.
